On 25th April 2012 the German-Chinese Energy Summit was held as side program of the world famous Hannover Messe 2012 in Germany.

The event “Green + Intelligence” for which China is the partner country 2012 provided a window onto the solutions and expertise offered by Germany's energy technology industry towards solving today's (and tomorrow's) challenges, particularly with regard to energy efficiency and energy infrastructure. The Summit also puts the spotlight on China's energy management sector, covering topics such as the impact of the five-year plan on grid expansion and the utilization of renewable energies, as well as the Chinese electronics and energy technology industry's contributions towards boosting efficiency of the energy supply in the People's Republic.

CS Instruments will also contribute in the future to spearhead the energy saving initiatives by providing German measurement and instrumentation solutions for compressed air and gas applications.

Following the common wisdom: “The first step to improvement is by measuring it…”

Therefore CS Instruments is assisting companies from all sectors and sizes by implement the new international standard for energy management ISO 50001 or by supporting Air Audit services together with our partner network all over China.

CS Instruments has held their Asia sales conference on the beautiful island of Penang in Malaysia from 19th to 21st March 2012. Nearly 40 participants from various countries in Asia, Australia and New Zealand met in order to exchange their field experiences in workshops & lectures, worked out the strategy for success for the future business expansion and – of course - celebrated their achievements in sales in the past year.

On this occasion CS Instruments also introduced new products which are combining next generation measurement technology with state-of the art user interface design and advanced solutions for information processing and industrial communication.

The new products will be launched in the 2nd quarter of 2012 and more info will be published soon.

The conference was very successful due to the active contribution of all participants and everybody enjoyed the hospitality of our CS team and the “sights and sounds of Malaysia” very much.

Therefore we are excited to announce that Mr. Frank Ralf Mueller has joined our CS Instruments Asia team as Marketing & Sales Director since January 1st, 2012.

We are happy to announce that the CS family has grown to better serve our SE Asian clients, with the formation of CS Instruments (S.E.A.) Sdn. Bhd.  Our SE Asian head office is located in beautiful Penang, Malaysia, home to many well known International High-Tech companies, with supporting offices in Kuala Lampur. Operations commenced on October 3rd, 2011, and are already running very smoothly.
This seamless move into SE Asia results from the agreement of Choy Boon Keat, owner of our former Malaysian agent VAPS and a man respected in our industry throughout SE Asia, to become the Managing Director of CS Instruments (S.E.A.).  Joining his team, to guarantee excellent ongoing service of our clients throughout SE Asia, are Eugene Mooi Choon Yee as Sales Manager and Sue Chong Lee Siu as Administrative Manager. Former VAPS clients will now be served directly through CS Instruments (S.E.A.)  
This expansion of CS Instruments into SE Asia results from our growing business and client base in the region, and our strong desire to provide our many existing clients and the new ones to follow with the best possible service and support.
